Martijn Caspar Swart

Martijn was born in 1982 in Den Haag, Nederland. He immigrated to Montana as a young boy, and eventually achieved a Bachelors of Arts in Literature at Montana State University.
He completed four years of classical atelier training with Juliette Aristides in Seattle, as well as spring and summer classical figurative kitsch painting with Odd Nerdrum in both Sweden and Norway.
Martijn has been in various group shows and independent pop-up solo exhibitions throughout Washington, Oregon, California, and Montana.
He holds paintings in collections across the United States and Europe.
